Dharma School Students Make Thanksgiving Project

West Covina Buddhist Temple's Dharma school students had fun making cinnamon-scented candlestick holders during their Sunday School classes in November, 2002.

Dharma Schoolers began making their candlestick holders by gluing cinnamon sticks onto the side of a tuna fish can (thoroughly cleaned, of course!).

Dharma School students pose with their completed candlestick holders. When a standard small candlestick is placed inside and lit, the warmth of the candle causes the cinnamon to fill the house with its wonderful scent!
